PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPEC
You will serve as a PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIALIST in the Public Affairs Office (c1160) for Executive Support Staff (c1100) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
- You will coordinate all aspects of the Public Affairs Branch (PAB) in the Emergency Control Center for Radiological Control Emergency Preparedness and for All- Hazards Emergency Response.
- You will research and develop proposals for improving PAB performance in all response scenarios; synchronizes plans and training with local and NAVSEA 08 guidance.
- You will develop strategic communications plans and products in support Command strategic communications and emergency response initiatives.
- You will write press releases and news and feature articles, and takes photographs, for dissemination to military and civilian media outlets and other media as required.
Requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating public affairs operations and public affairs emergency response for real-world events, drills, and exercises.
