Supervisory Management & Program Analyst

This position is located in the Government Accountability Office, (GAO), Chief Administrative Office (CAO). As a Supervisory Management & Program Analyst you will lead a team of Analysts and Specialists in delivering analytical support to the Chief Administrative Office. This position oversees GAO internal communications office and directs cross functional projects involving many CAO and other GAO organizations.


As a Supervisory Management & Program Analyst, MS, 0343, 2, your typical work assignments may include the following: Responsible for GAO internal communications and managing editorial and content pipelines including oversight of agency-wide Notices, townhalls and announcements, and partnership coordination with units on additional communications such as Public Affairs, Continuous Process Improvement Office, and other relevant offices. As requested, either independently or through subordinate staff, writes, edits, and evaluates many guides and policies in administrative areas including providing final review on all GAO orders. Directs or individually performs a wide variety of sensitive tasks, involving the entire GAO administrative processes. Projects that cut across organizational lines and may involve other, non-administrative GAO organizations. Oversees the policies and processes associated with GAO's non-engagement job codes. Oversees the annual Customer Satisfaction Survey.


Requirements

You may qualify at the BAND MS-II level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower band level, equivalent to the Band MS-I / PT-III / PE-IIB level or GS-14 level in the federal service, which has equipped the applicant with the skills and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as experience in preparing briefs for senior management on program execution, collaborating on assessments over organizational internal; and communicating effectively both orally and in writing, to convey organizational technical, sensitive concepts and issues to senior officials and leaders.
